Teheran (ANTARA News/AFP) - Puluhan ribu pendukung pemerintah Iran memadati jalan-jalan di Teheran, Jumat, menuntut para pemimpin oposisi, Mir Hossein Mousavi dan Mehdi Karroubi, dihukum gantung karena "pemberontakan" mereka. "Kematian bagi Mousavi! Kematian bagi Karroubi! Mousavi, Karroubi harus digantung!" teriak demonstran setelah mereka melaksanakan sholat Jumat di Universitas Teheran dan bergabung dengan massa pendukung yang berpawai menuju Lapangan Enghelab (Lapangan Revolusi) yang terkenal.
